GiveBig is May 6th!

What's that?  GiveBig is a one-day, online giving event sponsored by the Seattle Foundation and its partners, to inspire people to give generously to nonprofit organizations in the Seattle area. Last year the fundraiser raised $12.6 million!
When you go through The Seattle Foundation and make a gift to Feral Cat Spay/Neuter Project on May 6th, The Seattle Foundation will proportionally match this donation with a "stretch pool" of funds.  The "stretch pool" is a fund that will be given out to all the participating charities based on the total amount each charity raises.  If you'd like to find out more about GiveBig or The Seattle Foundation and how this all works, you can visit their website .
As we get closer to May 6th we will post a special link you need to use to make sure it all gets into the "stretch-pool" calculations.
Thank you to The Seattle Foundation for making this possible!

Sexless Soiree 2014

Do you have something interesting, fun, luxurious, or unique to donate to our auction this year?  We'd love to talk to you!  Please email us or download the procurement form and mail it on in.  Thank you for being a part of the humane solution!

Carl and Lucy

Our good friend Peg Kehret has sponsored a clinic on April 28th in memory of her beloved husband, Carl.  Here he is with their sweetheart, Lucy.  Thank you, Peg, for allowing us to celebrate Carl with you.

Mentoring News

Have you heard?  We're partnering with Olympic Peninsula Humane Society and Spay to Save to create some high-volume, high-quality spay/neuter clinics out in the Port Angeles area.  There is a ton of great energy out there because there are so many dedicated people - it's a natural fit for us!  Also participating in this effort is Peninsula Friends of Animals, Community Cat Coalition, and Forks Friends of Animals.

If you'd like more information about bringing a cat to the next clinic or volunteering, please contact info@ophumanesociety.org or call 360-457-8206.

Learn to Trap!

Community Cat Coalition is offering classroom training on human trapping for the purpose of Trap/Neuter/Return (TNR), a widely respected solution to the cat overpopulation situation in our shelters and in our neighborhoods.  Learn trapping techniques and network with others involved in improving the lives of community cats and kittens.

If you would like more information about upcoming trainings, email the Community Cat Coalition.

Help Spread the Word!

We have a new flyer !  Please print it out or write to us at questions@feralcatproject.org if you want us to mail you some.  Please post them in any appropriate place so that we constantly let people know about the accessible and affordable spay/neuter surgery we provide to the community.  Thank you!

Are You Into S & N?  We are!!
