CAN I BRING A TAME CAT TO YOU FOR SPAY/NEUTER?

Yes!  We offer spay/neuter services to pet cats for people who meet our income requirements. Please see the chart below to confirm that you meet the income requirements.

HOW OLD DOES MY CAT HAVE TO BE TO ALTER THEM?

Cats must be at least two months old and weigh at least two pounds.

WHAT IS THE BEST AGE TO GET MY CAT SPAYED/NEUTERED?

We recommend getting cats spayed and neutered as soon as they are eight weeks of age. The American Association of Feline Practitioners supports spaying/neutering early in life as a safe and effective method of decreasing cat overpopulation, and one which confers long-term medical and behavioral benefits to the individual cat.

WHAT KIND OF CARRIER CAN I BRING MY CAT IN FOR THEIR APPOINTMENT?

We accept cats in hard plastic carriers or humane traps (see examples below). If you do not have a carrier, we can sell you a carrier at the clinic prior to your appointment for $5.
